Most of our kickboxing clients had never thrown a punch before their first session β and we coach them all the way from beginner pad work to confident sparring (if they want it).

What a kickboxing session looks like
A typical 60-minute session:
- 10 min β warm-up (skipping rope, dynamic mobility, shadow boxing)
- 15-20 min β technique drilling (jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts, low/high kicks)
- 15-20 min β pad work (your coach holds pads, you execute combinations at intensity)
- 10 min β conditioning circuit (heavy bag intervals or burpee-jab combos)
- 5 min β cool-down + stretching

Combine kickboxing with other training
Many clients combine kickboxing with regular personal training for full balance: 1 kickboxing session + 1-2 strength sessions per week. The combination builds explosive power, cardiovascular fitness, and proper movement patterns simultaneously.
Kickboxing FAQ β English
Do I need to spar to learn kickboxing?
No. Most clients only do pad work and bag work for months or years. Sparring is optional, introduced only when you’re ready and want it. Many people get great fitness results from kickboxing without ever sparring.
I have no experience β is it safe?
Yes β that’s actually our specialty. Beginner programming focuses on slow, correct technique first. We don’t throw beginners into high-intensity drills before they have basics down. Injury risk is very low when learning at the right pace.
How does kickboxing compare to boxing?
Boxing uses only punches; kickboxing adds kicks (front, round, side, low kicks). Kickboxing is a more complete full-body workout but takes slightly longer to learn the basics. See our kickboxing vs boxing comparison.
Is kickboxing good for weight loss?

Do you provide gloves and pads?
Yes β all equipment is included. You only need workout clothes and a water bottle. For regular clients we recommend buying your own gloves eventually for hygiene preference, but it’s not required.
